BEATLES VAULT OPENS

Amazing news is circulating among Beatles fans today that the band will put out an official collection of unreleased session tapes from 1963 as a digital album on iTunes. The compilation will include rare song takes, unreleased BBC performances, and even Demo recordings of early Beatles songs! Collectors have heard much of this material through the bootleg market, but none of these tapes have ever been officially released. No details about remastering have been issued, but folks are hoping for improved audio from the original tape sources. Many are speculating the album collection is to secure copyrights that may be about to expire at the 50-year mark, a strategy already seen in action for Bob Dylan's catalog since last year. Below is the cover image posted today on-line. Check out the 59-song track list here. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
