In each segment, listeners are treated to in-depth discussions with interesting personalities (much like NPR'sFresh Air), which include special music and book selections chosen by the guests. Many Spy Vibe heroes have appeared on the program, offering rare glimpses into their lives and careers. Hosts have been Roy Plomley, Sue Lawley, and the fabulous interviewer Kirsty Young, who has hosted since 2006. An archive of the show is now available on the BBC site.
