NO 6 ROCKS

When Patrick McGoohan's character No 6 was captured and trapped in the mysterious Village, his first hope was to escape and then return to blow the place off the map. Well, it's almost fifty years later and the Village is being blown away this weekend- by international pop stars! Portmeirion is hosting Festival No 6 for a third year, featuring an incredible lineup of musicians that include Beck, Pet Shop Boys, Badly Drawn Boy, Tom Odell, London Grammar, Neneh Cherry, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, The Radiophonic Workshop, and many others. There is also an extensive Arts & Culture program headlined by Charlie Higson (Young Bond series) and Julian Cope. Festival No 6 will take over Portmeirion for three days (Sept 5-7), with concerts, DJs, readings, movie screenings, and family activities taking place in every available venue- you'll even find bands rocking the Stone Boat.
