PARTY: BABA BROOKS

The embers of Spy Vibe's weekend Ska party continue to glow as agents make their way out of the secret lair. This last track is "A Toast to James Bond", released by Jamaican trumpet player Baba Brooks and backed by "Love So Divine" by Millicent Todd. A perfect tune to wind down the party. Brooks played in the 1950s and 1960s with Eric Dean, Duke Reid, Prince Buster, and The Skatalites. He had a hit in 1962 with "Independence Ska", which celebrated the end of colonialism in Jamaica.
