Event alert: Would you believe a whole evening devoted to Get Smart with actress Barbara Feldon (Agent 99), Lee Pfeiffer (Cinema Retro magazine), and many scholars and enthusiasts? Mel Brooks (with Buck Henry) set his sights on the Spy Boom when he created one of his greatest parody projects. Get Smart ran from 1965-1970, and featured the hilarious missions of Control agents 99 (Feldon) and Maxwell Smart Agent 86 (comedian Don Adams/Inspector Gadget). Barbara Feldon Always in Control will take place at the Theatre 80 St Marks in NYC on September 16th.
