Hey Jason, I'm dyin' from the excitement, when're ya sendin' the CDs? :)
Received the CDs safe and sound today! Thanks, Number Two...er...Jason!
Some thoughts on The Prisoner music:Arduous, often tedious (disc 1), but nonetheless *fascinating* listening. Every note, no matter how dark or "cheery", sounds like it came from the show. It's every bit a part of "The Prisoner" as Patrick McGoohan and a character in of itself. It's not something I'm going to have on heavy rotation, but for Prisoner fanatics it's a gold mine, even though I prefer the Silva releases as a listening experience. I guess some clever programming would make for an ideal CD-R.Still, a wonderful and essential collection of some of the most challenging and unique music from the 1960s--and that's saying a lot.
Glad the set arrived safely! Yes, there is a lot to go through. A CD mix would be the ideal way to enjoy the best bits. I'm working on doing just that with the Prisoner and Danger Man tracks.
