NEW VINYL SOUNDTRACKS
Released today! If your vibe is groovy spy soundtracks from the 1960s, then get ready to dust off your record player! Network UK continues their music line with the release of The Prisoner and Gideon's Way (Edwin Astley) pressed on 180gram "virgin" vinyl. The soundtracks are being transferred from the original analog tape elements at AIR Studios by John Weber and Ray Staff (Muse, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin). Collectors take note! The Prisoner is available in two editions: black vinyl in gatefold sleeve (1,000 copies) and white vinyl presented in an overprinted transparent sleeve (500 copies). I love Network's CD box set of music from The Prisoner and I can't wait to hear highlights on vinyl- especially if the records were mastered with care at AIR Studios and pressed at Pallas plant in Germany! I had a hard time deciding, but eventually went for the gatefold regular edition of The Prisoner. Although I was tempted by the limited-edition white pressing, I didn't want to worry to much about it as a collectible and just enjoy the music. More info at Network. Don't miss these records, Spy Vibers. While you're there, check out Network's current Eccentrics sale, which includes titles like The Secret Service and Jason King.
