OGILVY AT ELSTREE

Just announced: Ian Ogilvy (Return of The Saint) will be at the upcoming ITC event at Elstree Sutdios! The Unmutual and Quoit Media continue their series of fantastic events with a special Cerebration of ITC this November. Fans will gain rare entrance into Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, where many ITC shows were made, and the event will include several special guests, including Ian Olgivy, Annette Andre (The Prisoner, The Saint, The Baron, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)), William Gaunt (The Champions, The Avengers), Angela Douglas (The Saint, Doctor Who, Jason King), Prentis Hancock (Space 1999, The Protectors), Georgina Moon (UFO), John Hough (The Baron, The Saint, The Champions), and Shane Rimmer (Thunderbirds, Dr. Strangelove, You Only Live Twice, UFO, Diamonds Are Forever, Danger Man, The Spy Who Loved Me). Also featured will be an original Mini Moke from The Prisoner, on-stage Q&A sessions, screenings, and more. A Celebration of ITC is scheduled for Saturday November 17th at 6:30PM. Profits from the event will benefit Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice in North Wales. Tickets available at Quoit Media. I hope some Spy Vibers can make it. Elstree Studios is a quick (and pleasant) train ride from London. Don't miss this chance if you are in the area. Also, be sure to check Quoit Media for some interesting product releases, including books and CDs about The Prisoner, Portmeirion, Callan, ITC, and much more. A while back I teamed up with John Buss of the Little Storping Museum (a pop culture treasure trove!) to talk with Mr. Ogilvy about his career. You can read it here. In other news, my new radio segment for Cocktail Nation out of Australia will be up soon! Check out past episodes hereSpy Vibers, also please check out my new book (over 700 pages!) about one of America's most successful cartoonists. On other creative fronts, Spy Vibers might not know that I began exhibiting as a fine art photographer in the late 1980s. I haven't really shared that part of my life here, but readers might like to see some of my work on InstagramEnjoy!
