AVENGERS BLU SETS

New release: The big news this week is the exciting announcement about the upcoming Blu-ray box set, The Avengers: The Tara King Collection, from Imprint in Australia. Spy Vibers who already own the European Blu-ray set -now out of print, as far as I know- will want to pay close attention to a number of new bonus features. From the press release: "John Steed fights crime and diabolical masterminds in his own inimitable manner with nonchalant efficiency, sophistication, and charm. Including Mr. Jerico was a great idea! The film has been available in past years on DVD from UK distributor Network, who sadly went out of business; this is a perfect way to bring the film back into circulation, and in higher resolution! I believe both sets are region free. With its incredible cocktail of intrigue, warmth, humor, fashion, and playful design, The Avengers was my first love among spy adventures and remains my all-time favorite to this day. Highly recommended!
