ROGER MOORE BLU

New release: Imprint Films is releasing two classic Roger Moore titles on Blu-ray this summer! While we Spy Vibers lamented the demise of Network distributors in the UK, it seems that Australia's Imprint Films has really stepped in to continue production and keep many of our old faves available as physical media -usually packed with bonus features, too! Imprint has not only produced old Network standbys like The Saint, The Return of the Saint, The Persuaders, and The Prisoner, but also various seasons of The Avengers! This summer they are continuing with two new Blu-ray editions of Roger Moore films, The Man Who Haunted Himself (Moore thought it was one of his best performances) and Crossplot. Both are limited to 1,500 copies (info below). Imprint Blu-rays tend to be region-free, but check with them to see if you need a region-free player. More info at Imprint. From the Press releases:

Crossplot (1969): Roger Moore stars in a thrilling race against time to stop an assassination plot. Suave advertising executive Gary Fenn is living the good life. But the good life turns bad when someone tries to kill a beautiful model and frame him for the murder. Set in London during the Swinging Sixties, this action-packed ride is from acclaimed film and theatre director Alvin Rakoff (Say Hello to Yesterday), co-starring Belgian actress Claudie Lange, Martha Hyer (Sabrina), Francis Matthews (Paul Temple) and Alexis Kanner (The Prisoner). Why does he renounce his high business principles, and why does Julie, an attractive girl he has seen only once, claim such an intimate relationship? Writer and director Basil Dearden’s final film is based on the 1957 novel The Strange Case of Mr. Pelham by Anthony Armstrong. Includes new and archival special features, plus an exclusive insert reproduction of the original pressbook. Bonus Features:
